CONVERSATION - THE WAY TO COMMUNITY,
HOW WE TALK
Here's how the
implementation will likely happen for you.
Early Discussion
You will email me and we'll talk to see if we should talk further.
If you decide to continue, I will send
the initial enrolment form, which you'll complete and return to me, so I can get to know your group .
Once I get the form, and know more of who
you are, we'll do a couple more phone calls or emails to be sure we're of one
mind on where going
who are the responsible ones for detail decisions on your staff;
insure that I understand what you think this will do for you;
insure you understand how HOWWETALK works in general - no pig in a poke thingy;
what you feel we will deliver;
be sure I answer any questions you may have;
generally discuss your organization, and it's communication organization structure;
how many participants you may have;
experience your folks have in electronic communication;
know that a list of current participants can be requested from time to time;
they can be by pseudo-name or all data - and scheduled thing or ad hoc requests;
so who can request such lists - this an important matter of security;
on questions, can users contact me direct or through an agent - this is covered in annual maintenance;
when we are close and HOWWETALK looks good to you, I can send references and a link to my own professional web site;
Commitment Discussion
We'll agree on how you are to be billed and pay
Based on those discussions I will be able to give you a pretty solid figure on the cost of installing HOWWETALK, in your organization.
We will talk to insure you know what is needed on the task list as:
the name of the basic group as: "allofus" or "everybody" or a name of your choice
how the 'common participant name' - (pseudo-name) is to be structured
what group(s) you want to use on the Base data set
You will commit to go;
We will discuss the name of the domain - 'everybody.com' - 'allofus.net' - the fullgroup.church - etc.
(be aware, we may have to search for an available name that meets your desire!)
I'll send you a task list; and
you will send the initial deposit
Base Install
When I get the task list we'll haggle a bit as to which of us does what, and we'll agree on the implementation path
with dates, responsibilities, expectations, and payment methods you choose.
The 'start up' system we will be building here is as shown on the 'Overview' page.
I will build to support - 8-10 participants & 1-2 groups
You will gather the info for the base set and
I will begin preparing the domain and the data base to hold the material you are collecting
You will send me the base data set from which I will complete the build.
I will build the base and do initial
testing, and send you a final proof list which we adjust until it is OK for both of us
Then you start your core group in learning and testing HOWWETALK
We will communicate to handle questions or problems.
Once it is working for you, we will begin to finalize the full system
Full Install
You will submit the following:
entire set of participants
any additional groups you desire - including the assigned participants
the fee to lock the domain and data base
I will generate the data base which will be the 'Master' for the system, and send you the a confirmation list for verification.
This list will become the MASTER index of HOWWETALK. You will be able to request copies from time to time.
I will then test the full system to see if I can break it. All
WILL go well, and I'll release HOWWETALK to you!
All changes from this point will be made to this Master which I will maintain for you.
Operational
All work up to the end of the 'Base Install' section is part of the installation fees.
Any changes after this are covered under the annual maintenance,
individual change fees, or as part of a discounted pre-paid package.
